OSS
The distributed optical fiber strain sensing system (OSS) is a device which can conduct measurement of optical fiber stress and temperature. Based on the principle that Brillouin frequency shift is sensitive to fiber strain and temperature, the system conducts the detection of Brillouin scattering of pulsed light in the sensing optical fiber, realizing fiber stress and temperature measurement in the ultra-long sensing distance, with high precision and high spatial resolution, which can be widely used in line stress monitoring, melting ice temperature monitoring, submarine cable monitoring, power line inspection in spring and autumn, construction acceptance and other scenarios.
